Over fifty years of passion
The E.I.B. Group was established in 1998 through the union of two manufacturing companies with many years of experience, with the aim of expanding expertise across various sectors of electrical engineering, leveraging their synergies, and offering customers a complete range of products and services capable of meeting every requirement.
At the time the group was founded, IMAT Automazioni had already been operating for over twenty years, mainly in hardware and software design, the construction of electrical panels for industrial automation, and technical support services. E.I.B., on the other hand, since its foundation in 1972, had specialized in the production of medium- and low-voltage distribution switchboards, civil and industrial electrical systems, and machine wiring for every type of industrial machinery.
During 2004, the two companies were merged into a single operational unit based in Civate, before moving to a new and more functional headquarters in Oggiono.
Today, the company operates within a 2,000 sqm facility that includes a mechanical workshop where electrical panels are assembled and wired, a large and fully stocked warehouse ensuring the constant availability of components from leading industry brands, and modern, spacious offices where projects are analyzed, developed, and brought to completion.

Our story is a great family saga, built on bonds of blood and bonds of choice. At the beginning, there was the love between two very young spouses, Angela and Franco, who took charge of their lives and built a shared destiny with the courage and strength of both their youth and the opportunities offered by Italy in the 1970s. Then came their three children, the hard work, perseverance through sacrifice, effort and distance, and the difficult challenges imposed by fate.
